NATURAL STONE: A TIMELESS ICON

From the origins of art to the architectures of the future, natural stone is the most authentic and enduring form of beauty. Every shade tells a geological story, and each slab preserves a fragment of time.

A living, noble, and sustainable material, capable of inspiring emotion and withstanding the ages, stone continues to inspire humanity as a symbol of balance between nature and culture. In this eternal dialogue, CERESER celebrates its essence: a timeless icon that unites aesthetics, identity, and the true nature of the material.

SINCE 1965

In 1965, Gian Luigi Cereser founded Cereser Marmi: a small company in the municipality of Domegliara, near Verona, specializing in marble products and stone processing. Within just a few years, the company experienced significant growth, establishing a strong reference market in Germany. In 1978, expansion became necessary and the headquarters were relocated to the current site in Rivoli, also in the province of Verona, where production of finished works continued in a large warehouse of approximately 2,500 square meters.

Between 1980 and 1990, the company expanded its production: finished granite products were introduced, while the major transformation came with the sale of granite and marble slabs. The need for increasingly larger spaces led to the construction of two additional warehouses, adding another 2,500 square meters. In the following decade, from 1990 to 2000, the company invested in human resources to expand its markets, particularly across Europe. This strategy required further covered space for slab storage and processing, resulting in the construction of an additional 4,000 square meters of facilities.

Cereser Marmi

In 2003, a new vision emerged: slab warehouses were to become true showrooms, with materials displayed according to product category and color. For this reason, a warehouse of approximately 5,000 square meters was acquired near the headquarters, mainly dedicated to the storage of marbles, onyxes, and travertines. In 2005, the company celebrated its fortieth anniversary. Entering the United States market led to the construction of a new 1,000-square-meter warehouse to showcase more exotic and prestigious materials.

In 2015, the company celebrated fifty years of activity, marking the beginning of a five-year period characterized by major transformations and the introduction of significant innovations in both production and the promotion and enhancement of natural stone.

At Marmomac 2016, the first and only augmented reality app in the world dedicated to natural stone was presented. In 2018, expansion works began for the production and exhibition district, and the MASTER COUNTERTOP collection, dedicated to the kitchen world, was launched.

In 2019, the new showroom was inaugurated, introducing an innovative exhibition concept that places CERESER clients at the center of attention and every design choice. In the early months of 2020, a new production line was launched with the first TANGO by BRETON system, specifically designed for CERESER.

In the following years, from 2020 to 2025, the company continued its path of constant industrial evolution, combining new technological investments with the expansion and completion of its exhibition spaces.

This led to the creation of a showroom system organized into CER1, CER2, and CER3 — distinct and complementary environments where each type of natural stone finds its own space and highest expression — confirming CERESER as a place of selection, culture, and enhancement of material.
